How this started
I have a degree in finance, and before SMB Help was a business I was already doing the books for a few businesses. Then a friend asked if I'd do theirs. Then another friend asked.
Somewhere in there I realized how many owners need this done and don't have anyone doing it. They're good at the work they got into business for. The books are the thing that sits until March.
So I kept saying yes, mostly to people who heard about me from someone else. Now it's all I do. It still runs the way it did when it was just friends. You text me and get an answer, and you know the price before any work starts.
Outside of work
My wife and I moved up from Tennessee a few years ago, and we've got a baby at home now. So I get it when your evenings aren't for sorting receipts.
What we do
Every month we categorize your transactions and reconcile your bank and card accounts in QuickBooks Online. We don't file taxes. Your CPA gets a clean, reconciled year, so they ask fewer questions and the filing costs less.
